About the book

Letters from Prague is a unique, dual protagonist story. Mod, a mountaineer and filmmaker from Prague, plans to conquer Everest but is halted by a 2016 avalanche, leading her to a brief stay in India, a country she fears. Kabir, a small-town poet, migrates to Delhi for a corporate job and faces an arranged marriage. Before submitting to his parents' demands, he embarks on a solo voyage, where he meets Mod. Eventually they form a deep bond through emails and poetries, Kabir shared vivid tales of his indian upbringing highlighting deep rooted problems in the indian society and family pressures. Mod, painted pictures of her European urban life. In this sanctuary of words, they bared their souls and expressed their vulnerabilities. But Kabir gets married before they get another chance to meet. Mod never gives up; Kabir never takes a stand against family. Will they be able to gather the courage to break society’s shackles and seek each other again? Or will they surrender against fate and adapt to their new realities?
